- Open a Paddy Power account
- Search through the many available betting markets on Paddy Power’s website using the left hand side menu and select an individual fixture.
- Click “Handicap Markets” in the categories list at the top of the page or scroll down to find them.
- Browse the available handicap and Asian handicap odds and select one by clicking on the box.
- Enter your stake into the “Betslip”.
- Click “Place Bet”.
Detailed Step by Step Guide
Step 1
Before you can make any handicap or Asian handicap bets on Paddy Power, you will need to register an online account with the bookmaker. This is really easy and won’t take more than five minutes.
Step 2
With some money in the kitty, you can go ahead and browse the different sports betting markets to find those handicap and Asian handicap odds (bear in mind that Asian handicaps are only available on football fixtures).
On the left hand side of the Paddy Power homepage you will be able to find popular and featured sports in the “Quick Links”. If you can’t find anything of interest in here then look below where you will find everything under “A-Z Betting”. Go to the sport or league of your choice and and click on an individual fixture.

You will be taken to a page with all the betting options for that individual fixture. At the top you will see a list of “Categories”, under which will be “Handicap Markets”. Click on this or alternatively scroll down to find the options for handicap and Asian handicap bets.
Step 4
Now it’s time to select your odds. For handicap bets, you will be presented with three odds for each handicap scenario: home win, draw, and away win. Each option will come with a positive or negative number in brackets e.g. (+1.0) or (-1.0). This number is the handicap, indicating the number of goals which the respective team will have as a head start or deficit before the match. The number for the draw option applies to the home team.
For Asian handicaps, you will only see two options because this type of bet makes a draw impossible. If the options come with two different numbers in brackets, this means that your stake will be split in half and placed on both handicaps.
When you see a handicap or Asian handicap with good odds that you like, you can select it by clicking on the box. This will prompt a red notification to appear with the words: “Added to Betslip”.
Step 5
Look to the right hand side of the page to find your Betslip and enter the stake in the box. You will see the potential returns below.
Step 6
Once you are satisfied with your selections and the potential winnings, you can go ahead and click the “Place Bet” button.
